Milestones – Revisited

Milestones – Revisited

A few years ago now, hmm, actually, about 5 years ago, I went to a place in Basingstoke called Milestones. It was a nice day out at a very interesting place.
Anyway, as I had some time off this week and the weather hasn’t been brilliant, I thought it would be good to have a nice family trip there.
This place is very interesting, it like a town from bygone times, all recreated inside a big hanger. There are buildings, shops vehicles and period dressed people from the late 1800s to 1960s. Its a great place.
Ashleigh, enjoyed walking all round the roads and look in all the shops. She loved the Teddy Bear shop!

There are lots of photo opportunities and it is great to see things from the 40’s and 50’s as we are currently building 2 websites from those periods. (homefronthistory.co.uk & theflyingducks.co.uk) the latter is not live at time of posting.

I couldnt make up my mine which photo  to post, so I’ve put both!

Still Needed a Goodwood Fix!

Still Needed a Goodwood Fix!

As I couldn’t get to Goodwood this year, I needed a goodwood fix!  So I raided the archives and found this.  I was very dark to start with, so I put it through photomatix, then made it black and I.  I like the result!
