A couple of week ago we had to take a friend back to Southampton Airport early in the morning. This mean’t that we to get there for 8am. So what can you do at 8am on a Sunday morning. Not much but we decided to head towards Marwell as it had been over a year since our last visit.
Ater stopping off on route we got to Marwell at 9:15 still way too early!
Marwell hadn’t changed too much in the last year. The Amur Leopards where still playing hard to get, the Tigers and Desert Cats were non-existent and the Snow Leopard where fast asleep at the back of the enclosure!
I did however manage to get this by walking up around the back of the enclosure where I was just able to see its head above the rock.

Yesterday I was on my Flickr page checking to see if I had any new comments, when I found this on my Crumbling Venice image.

“Hi Lee…..that is one amazing shot….i just had to sit and soak in awe of how captivating it is to the eye! You are amazingly creative and have captured multitudes of stunning shots! Textures, DOF, color…they are all breathtaking! Thank you for sharing your incredible gift of creativity and talent…perusing through your photo stream is the pause that refreshes! I hope you never tire of hearing the “Wow” about your work….I am sure people don’t tire in saying it! Grateful for the walk through your masterpieces!! I”
Wow, this was amazing and it made my day! I’ve had a lot of great and nice comments on my images over the years, but I think this one has to be one of the top!

Now things have are a bit quieter around the house I have been able to work on a few other bits that needed doing.
My Girlfriend has 2 websites, one of which we moved hosting on the other month and had started redesigning it, as it was a clicpic template before.
This is all well and good but it takes time. Nat had done some of it, learning web development as she went and I have done some more of the tricky bits and research into clever bits we needed to add.
I have also added some clever code created by Andrew Valums for scrolling images on a static page. So many thanks to Andrew as it is the best image scroller I have come across.
Nats second website, her framing site, also expired last week, so I have started this one too! This have given me a good opportunity to work on my css skills some more and implement some new things I haven’t tried before.
I manage to get a version of lightbox installed too, called slimbox2! My previous attempt didn’t work so I’m pleased I’ve managed to do it this time. It took a little bit of tweeking to get the titles working correctly with the vertical scroll script.
Keep an eye out for the annoncement of both the websites.

I’ve been looking back at some of my blogs entries in 2006 & 2007. It seems I had a lot to write about back then with an entry going in nearly every day.
Things were different then and I was writing alot as I knew I had a friend or 2 reading regularly.
I dont seem to be able to think of things to write about these days so easily. Maybe its because I have a lot more going on and no real need to write here. My apologies to anyone who still looks here in the hope to reading something of interest, I do try…
There should be some interesting bits coming up very soon and I’ll try and post a bit more if I can. I have just been too busy with things and not having the ideas to talk about here.
