Wow, what a busy week.
Its been busy at work, busy socially and a lot going on with the photography and website.
I think I have the website sorted now, which is great!
It also looks like I have resolved my mug printing problem, and although now I am not printing them myself, I have found someone who have done some excellent samples using my mugs. At least I can use my mug stock up! Only 400 remaining!
I have a new banner on it way for my craft fairs. 2m x 0.5m, this should be good, although another thing to set-up at the fairs but it all help in getting noticed!
Out tonight, out tomorrow and hopefully doing some xmas shopping on Sunday. Roll on the Christmas break. Only 13 days and counting!

Part of the joys of being a developer is testing, and debugging, then chasing the errors. If your a developer you know what I mean.
I’m still learning CSS and enjoy coding it a lots, but I was surprised or not to see that some of the new nice CSS features I added the other day, weren’t working so well in IE.
The homepage code meant that if the browser was smaller some of the graphics jumped around if a menu item was highlighted, I fixed this one quite quickly. (Or so I thought! still does it)
However the main problem was with the new side gallery highlight feature. In Firefox it was fine, either because it doesnt care and ignores the discrepancy, or just works in a different way. Anyway it alway used to be code for IE and Netscape, now it IE & Firefox.
The problem was tracking down the error. I thought I was going to have to re-edit all the side navs, but after a whole day of trying to find the problem, a friend suggested something which seemed to work. This evening however it didn’t and I’ve spent another 2 hours chasing the funnies in the code. Finally I sort it by adding additional simple bit of code to the CSS. it not fixed it! But, argh! now for some reason the first thumbnail in the Norway section jumps! So something else to chase, and yet again, I can’t see anything obvious.
So. if you notice any funny bit over the next few days, please let me know, and I am working on it!

I’ve now made some updates on the website!
First of all I’ve added some of the newest photos to the latest page (not all are in the mainsite yet) but at least they can be viewed!
I’ve also added the Homepage, Latest, Guestbook and Gift Item links to all the galleries and a new hover link colour in the side navs just to snaz it up a bit!!
The gift page now has PDF catalogue files to download containing Coaster designs and Ruler designs. The Coaster designs are similar to the Mousemat (not all can be used due to size difference) and the Keyring & Fridge Magnets. So that catalogue it listed in those sections too.

I guess I must apologise. I haven’t really added any new photos to my website recently, despite actually taking quite a few nice ones a couple of weeks ago. I will do it soon.
I have added some to my flickr account but not on here. I have also been busy working on some new craft items, like the Owl mousemats shown below.
I have also just added some new navigation links to my gallery sections. This is after noticing that someone had accessed my site looking for Snow Leopard Mousemats, and the search engine had linked to the Mammals sections and not the gift section. While that actually contained Snow Leopards, it doesn’t mention mousemats, or any links to the gift pages.
I had been thinking about how to add these gifts links for a while and wanted to add them to the image pages, but that is really to much work.
So, there is now a slight change on how the navigation works in the galleries. The Home icon has been removed from the top level gallery (still on individual pages) and is replaced by, Homepage, Gift Items, Latest and Guestbook links on the top right. These should be clearer, and more obvious in their actions.
Please let me know what you think.
