Yesterday I went to Painshill Park. I have been there a few times, and although it is nice, if you’ve been there a few times, then you seen it all before. Nothing really changes much there.
However, yesterday they had a birds of prey event.
As you may have guessed, I love birds of prey and especially Barn Owls and Eagles. Sadly no Eagle yesterday but they did have some Barn Owls!
It was quite hot yesterday for the birds, so the flying was kept to a minimum.
Saying that I am really pleased with the quality and colours on these photos. It was well worth the trip!

I have added a few extra images to the Bookmark & Short Ruler pages.

Although these are shown on the rulers pages, they can also be used for bookmarks. I will soon be creating web pages to show the vertical designs.
Also I have just created a new type of bookmark. These are shorter and narrower than the existing bookmarks.

This afternoon I got a phone call to say my canvas print was done and back in the shop. That was a quick turn around, I was only discussing it with the person in the shop on Tuesday! I am really pleased with the result.
Here is it hanging on my wall already. It is 46″ wide and was taken at the Hawk Conservancy last year. Click on the image for a larger image.

It was ordered through my local photography shop. Farnham Photo & Video.

Anyone who’s interested in wildlife would know the plight of the Tiger.
Despite bans being put in place for Tigers in medicine and sanctuaries being set up the Tiger is still a very endangered anmial. There is now a new threat, “Tiger Farms” where Tigers are speed-breed in the hope that the bans on Tiger parts and product will be lifted.
Please help support the ban on Tiger part sales and ask the Chinese goverment to keep this ban in place.
I have added myself to the Tiger mosaic in an effect to call for an end in the Tiger trade. Find me in the Tiger!

Amur Leopard
Another animal that is in real trouble is the Amur Leopard. This is the most endangered of all big cats. There are only 25-34 cats left in the wild.
