Well I was right about the weather at the weekend, it just couldnt make its mind up.
I think we had everything. Saturday was sunny, then heavy down pours. I had hoped to get a few pictures at a local Steam & Vintage event. Thinking the weather would warm up later, we visited the museum first then, the outdoor event. It was raining so much that the steam engines were covered up, oh well!
Sunday wasnt too bad and managed to get all the plants in that I had bought Saturday morning. At least the garden now has some colour and isn’t just green! I also managed to get most of coffee table completed
Yesterday, I did finish the coffee table and it looks really good! A picture will follow soon. I attempted to go to a fete, still trying to get some pictures, but ended up in the garden centre all day looking a water features. The weather was very patching with heavy down pours and hail stones, so I probably made the best choice. I ended up buying a big metal sphere as the water feature, which looks really good. I took a picture of that!

I’m not going to talk about the football, it was a usual England match.
As yesterday was a nice day I managed to get to Fanham Park in the evening and went looking for butterflies. I only saw 3 and didnt manage to get any pictures of them, but did get a couple of nice images of grasses! Well if there are no animals to photograph….
When I got back home I thought i would try and get a couple of photos of the Clematis in the garden. This was the result.
I was quite pleased with it.

Last night was the camera club. This takes place twice a month on a wednesday at work. We were hanging the second exhibition of the year, which this time had a black & white theme. As I dont really do black & white, I didnt have any photos to hang. The exhibition was made up of 2 people instead of the usual 7 or 8. I have been told that next time I can get to do a 2 person exhibition and display some of my new wildlife images.
THE MONTAGE COFFEE TABLE
On different note. A couple of months ago I was given a wooden coffee table which had a glass top. I immediately saw potiential with this and the last few weeks I have been printing out images to place in a montage under the glass. This is an interesting project and I think will be something quite unsual when I have finished. Its funny, but when you actual have to pick out photos for exhibitions, slideshows or in this case, a showcase coffee table, you suddenly become critial of your own work and the images you thought were really good, just dont seem to cut it. I am trying to pick out a mixture of good and interesting images from the last 6 years. Its quite difficult when you have over 19000 images to choose from!

I have been trying to add more photos to my sites recently and I think I have now managed to succeed. Over the last week or so I have add an extra 6 photos. Not many I know, but adding photos to my site isnt very easy. There is no automated process and I have to add all images and image information by hand.

Now I have done that, I will try and add the new mugs designs I created the other day. They will be Tiger mugs.
