Ok, so this is my first post via my new iPad! I’ve also bought the Blogsy app as it looked quite cool for blogging, with a great Rich Text Interface, with colours and boldness!!

It also makes it so easy to add photos from different sources.

This is a photo I took a while back on the Isle of Wight and recently converted to black and white. I’ve just dragged and dropped this from my Flickr feed all via the Blogsy interface.

Now for the moment of truth, save…

Burnt Out Mini

Taken back in 2003 on a walk around fleet pond, I found this abandoned burnt out Mini. It was taken with my first digital camera, the Fujifilm 6800z.

I recently brought the colours back into the photo more using Topaz Adjust, as they were a bit washed out in the original. It has also brought out more detail in the foliage too.

After seeing some similar photos on Flickr, I was inspired to try something similar with mine. I had done a textured image of Ronda, but Venice is something totally different!

It Started So Well

My blog posting were going so well this year, with more entries than last year, until March! Then, nothing! Until now.
I guess I have had so much going on with Work, the Extension Build and Family life that I just haven’t got around to it.
So apart from all of that, what have I been up to. I spent a bit of time working on my mobile version of my website and although not totally completed yet, it is making good progress.
I have the homepage completed with links to most of the content areas that are available on my main site. The galleries have been started, which will show a cut down selection of the main site images. The blog is of course mobile enabled anyway, and the gift pages just link to the main site at the moment.
So, some process has been made and more will be completed soon.

Image was put through topaz adjust, then a few lightroom filters and thats it!

I was really pleased with the result and have a few versions in different finishes too!

It seem my latest photo on 500px is quite popular.
At the time of posting this, its had 45 views, 12 votes and a rating of 92.4. It will be interesting to see what it gets to in 24hrs.

Blog Gains Weight!

My blog has gained a bit of weight! Its put on 200px around the middle and gained a bit down the side too!
In real terms it means I can now but bigger images in my posts, so makes them easier to view. Some older posts might look a little strange now.
Also I’ve added some ‘advert images’ of our products and services in the side bar, so people who only visit the blog can see what they are missing out on, or, if you’ve visited the main site, but never seen the gifts, you can go there too!
