Open Studio Test Run

A while back we did a test run for this year Surrey Arts that we are taking part in.

We finished building the studio at the end of last year and did a dummy run of how it will work during the Open Studio 2 weeks in June.

I was really quite pleased how it went.

Coaster Pages

Recently I have been working on recoding some of the gifts pages, starting with the coasters.

I have been trying to remove the iframe option to make the pages more future proof, as iframe code is now becoming defunct.

Unfortunately, most of my gift pages, like rulers and mouse mats are also coded in the same manner, so its going to be a long job and a matter of finding spare time to do it.

I have now completed and uploaded the coasters pages. This means now all you have to do is move the coaster over the image to see a larger version of it, instead of having to click on each one.

Also, when you now click on the image, it changes the url at the top of the screen, giving a direct link to that image for ordering purposes. Just mail me the link, or write down the code as before. This isn’t available on all coasters pages, as it was something I decided to add half way throught the updates, but it will be eventually.

Framing Service

Calling all photographers and artists, or people who just have something that needs framing!

I can highly recommend Natart’s mounting and framing service. She offers a high quality service at competitive prices.

Expert advise, interesting and different options for framing as well as a collection and delivery service.

So, go and find something to frame, take a look at her website, and give her a call!

Slowly Does It

Well things are slowly getting easier at work, which is good news for my stress levels and I’m just managing to relax a bit more.

Christmas present shopping is nearly completed too, just a couple more to get tomorrow and the royal mail to do their job and delivery the remaining items.

Its the Maltings Christmas market on Tuesday as well, so busy getting things organised there.  I’ll be in a different location with a different table layout, I think more room!  So that will be interesting working out how to set that up on the day!

The Market, although not technical the correct date, marks 1 year of first meeting my Girlfriend! Wow, where has that year gone!  Must have enjoyed it!!

Well still got photos to print and things to sort out, so better get on with that I suppose.
